Grateful
I often think about the love I found. It makes me feel so confident. Who knew she was waiting for me; to rescue me? She has always stayed in my mind. I feel as though she may be the right person for a life filled with joy. It's been 12 months and though a rocky road, things are now smooth and quiet. I can breathe again. I listen to the music, the words help guide me to safer shores. I saw one of my favorites Bands this year, a few weeks ago. Better Than Ezra was a dream come true. I actually shook their hand and took pictures with them. All it took was a green eyed beauty to show me the way. I opened the door and let love come in and hold me tighter than I've ever felt. These days, I feel at peace. The coming holidays are a reminder to be thankful for what I have. Well, what I have is a complete an utter appreciation for the small things and those just happen to be the most important things. This post is for gratitude, I am grateful for life, love and true friendship.
